Engine temperature???

Won't run? Engine, cooling system, fuel pump, carb, clutch, tranny, brakes, etc. The old messages from the NPCA 'Engine & Mechanical' category are here.

I'm guessing that you are normally with outside temperatures around 30°C (86°F), so please correct me if I'm wrong. In that case I will fit a 71°C (160°F) thermostat in the Patrol.

With that, the temperature reading in the panel should be around 85°C (185°F). Always use an antifreeze protection, no so much for that, but for the fact that they also raise the boiling point in the coolant, so less over-pressure in the system.
