New 1967 60 owner

Post by weasel451 »

Hello from louisville, KY USA. Just bought a 1967 swb patrol on Saturday and I am excited to find such an amazing resource of owners. I am a high school teacher, but have interests in unusual cars and motorcycles and I try to spend as much free time as I can tinkering in my garage. Of course, with two small boys, free time is a very limited commodity but they are really looking forward to many happy years with the "army truck that daddy just got." I am looking forward to talking with as many of you as possible in the future as I know I will need assistance and advice. Thank you all in advance and I'm glad to own a 60! Darren

Welcome Darren!!

Congratulations in your purchase. With a bit of patience you'll find the parts needed.

Are you planning to restore it all original or just make it totally functional and enjoy it?

Either case, you'll be in good company at 60Patrol!

Looks like I'm a little late to the party, but welcome to 60Patrol! :text-welcomeconfetti: you found the right place for all of you Patrol related questions. And yes, :text-worthless: :D

Tell us about your Patrol. Not too many Patrols made it to or survived long in the south. The south was far too unfriendly towards Japanese vehicles in the 60s. So it's interesting when one turns up out there. Now that Nissan has there headquarters in Nashville it seems there is more demand for the older Datsuns there now.

Enjoy your new project and please keep us updated. It's always fun to watch a family project come to life.
Beyond any hope for intervention
