What year is your Patrol? The hood safety latch changed in '68.

I do have the correct latch. It has a longer swivel base than the earlier models. Do you have any bits to trade or perhaps a case of beer?

Re: Hood Catch-Safety Latch
Considering our beer here in Oklahoma is the diluted 3.2 you would not be coming out ahead on a case of beer. I don't have much to trade as this is my first Patrol project, however I do have a clutch slave cylinder that I had shipped from Australia and ended up not using because I was able to rebuild my original one. If that is not of interest I do have some PayPal money I can burn.plateaucal wrote:I do have the correct latch. It has a longer swivel base than the earlier models. Let me know, thanks for your help.

I see you edited your original post. It seems that this is the part you want, not the hood latch?

Hey, I may have one or two. I'll send you a pic if I do. Darren
