setting timming

i just got my distributor bushings redone when i put the distro. back in it basicly runs like crap. i've set the timming several times and still no luck. does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem may be. i own a 65 KL60 .

Remember it fires counter clockwise I had the same problem. LOL Hope this helps Vern

Not sure about Patrol dist. but the old chevys could be put in 180 deg. out of time. Basically backwards. Keith
