Checked your brake hoses lately?
Just an FYI side note to my recent posting in Parts And Compatible Parts about front brake hoses for a '65 L60. I installed the new hoses today, and when I was removing one of the 50-year-old originals I gave it a not so very hard pull and the flexible line broke off of one one of the end fittings. I worked in an auto wrecking yard when I was a kid, and I've seen entire axles hanging from a flexible brake hose, so I know they don't break easy. Might be something to think about if your Patrol still has its original hoses, or the hoses are twenty or so years old.
