Re: For Sale on Ebay
Thanks for the tip. I just bought it.
I use to have hubs long time ago. Mine came originally without them since overseas it was never a factory option. Later on I installed a different type of Selectro. One of them got hit during an encounter with a bike and was damaged. Something similar happened with some AVM made in Brasil (Warn license). After that i dedided to not install them.
Being my Patrol a daily driver back in those days, the ability to shift on the fly onto 4wd as a safety feature in slippery conditions (like wet pavement) was a must, so i decided no to install them any more, until temptation showed up today, thanks.
My numbers for mpg never showed anything meaningful in this department with the locking hubs, but certainly helps spare some internal wear of the axles and tracta or CV joints.

Awesome Esteban. Good score. I have the Selectro's on my 69. They look a little different, but work well.

Re: For Sale on Ebay
Question -- the eBay link that Esteban posted says that these Seclectro hubs fit '69 thru '79 G60s. What about the earlier Patrols -- is the spline count different such that these hubs won't fit pre-'69s?

Re: For Sale on Ebay
The spline count stayed the same. They will fit the pre-69s also.
Beyond any hope for intervention

Re: For Sale on Ebay
Thanks. I snagged a set on eBay from the same seller that Esteban got his. My Patrol had a set of Warn hubs on it but there was an issue with one of them, and I took them off in 1974. Still have them, but figure for $75 I would pop for the Selectros. Hopefully I can find the parts for the Warns and put those back on, but just in case I will have these.
Thanks guys......especially plateaucal who started this thread! And thanks RiverPatrol for the advice!

Re: For Sale on Ebay
one of my dads jeep friends said that the hubs on my 67 (dualmatic) are jeep lockout hubs but since he has never seen a patrol before I am not putting much trust in his assumption. Are the hubs the same as jeep or any other 4wd?

Re: For Sale on Ebay
I am guessing they might be different, I see Warn M2 listed as for jeeps, I have a set off another partrol that are Warn M49. the collar height looks longer for the patrol.

Re: For Sale on Ebay
Regarding locking hubs, they might be similar on the outside, but the spline count is different. From what I recall, locking hubs for the Patrol 60 Series, do not fit any other vehicle.
