Ok I figured it out. These pics aren't that great as the light In my shop isn't great. From what is an tell it's all original ball except for the mirrors and the front turn signals

Here is a thread with some videos on how to post pictures:

They might not work right now because the Photobucket is down right now.

I'm assuming the original colour was the seafoam green that you can see on the radiator support. I like the map light on the dash that comes out. Unfortunately the lens on mine falls out. I think it must be missing a spring to put pressure on it to keep it in place.

Your new Patrol looks pretty good from what can be seen. The map light is indeed a cool feature. Be careful with that lens, it is glass and if you break it they are very hard to find. what keeps it in place is a rubber insert, Coincidentally, that was the most recent mystery part. Take a look here for a picture of one:

So I had a bit of time this evening and got out to the shop. After taking the drain plug out of the gas tank and jabbing a coat hanger up there I drained a full tank of old fuel. I couldn't see any coolant in the rad but I open the drain on that and got a few gallons. I know there is a valve on the side of the block to drain the rest but for the life of me can't find it. The lighting in my shop sucks so I may very well have overlooked it.
The truck was supposedly all original except the seats however when I pulled the air cleaner off the carb is a very old Rochester?
Looking in my manual I noticed that the stock carb should be a Hitatchi. I've heard numerous people' say stromberg when talking about carbs . Is that a brand or is it the model of Hitatchi carb? I got 2 Hitatchi carbs in a parts bin. I don't have any pics but there is a little tubular sight glass on the side I'm wondering if this I the carb I'm looking for?
Tommorrow I'm going to get a battery and see if it will turn. It moves freely by hand which is a good sign.
Also I didn't know that the patrols used a push button ignition is that normal for a 65?
