Old school Jet Boat

Post by ShowMePatrol »

Well......Friday or Saturday we take delivery of our old school 1975 Glastron CV-19SS Jet Boat. It has an Olds 455 in it. Bought it from a guy in AZ. I'm having it shipped to our lake house in KY.

I like it...!

Back in the 80's, my step-father bought a 79 Hallet Sprint that also had an Olds 455 in it. Those are perfect high-torque engines for spinning Jacuzzi pumps (just don't cringe at the complete lack of mpg.. :? )

I like the Old School boats. I just sold my '87 Bahner bow rider; it had a marine 454. Before that I had a '74 California with a 455 Olds. Yes, I know the lack of gas mileage.

ShowmePatrol, promise us you won't disappear and sell your Patrol this time. ;)
Beyond any hope for intervention

Our Bayliner 2350SS has a Mercruiser 454 with a Bravo 3 Duo-Prop setup. Love the acceleration of this boat. Hope the CV-19 has similar acceleration. We can't wait to get it in the water. I need to buff it out and replace carpet.

Leslie, I promise I'm here to stay! Missy would kill me if I sold the Patrol. She loves it.
