Took it apart and cleaned and oiled it in 1997. It's been working fine since then... at least 100,000 miles. Face is somewhat sun-faded but looks a little better than in the picture. Includes illumination light socket. Free to anyone who will pay shipping. I also have the speedometer cable, but I modified the lower end to fit a Dana 18 transfer case.

I'll gladly send it. :)

Send me a message with your mailing address and zip code. I'll pack it, find out what the shipping cost is and let you know. Then you can either pay me through PayPal or send a money order. Okay?

I installed all new gauges (well, not new, but good old stuff) ammeter, voltmeter, vacuum gauge, water temperature and oil pressure. I'm using a 0 - 70 speedometer from a 1953 Willys jeep. I'll try to get a picture and post it.

Patrol members never fail to impress me with their generosity of advice and parts. I have received this speedometer and this means I will have my original available for someone in the future. It maybe 6-8 months before I can switch these out but please be aware a 1963 speedometer will be available. I've only driven the CCV5 (ex-Green Machine) 35' but I think it was working.

Now, Plan B entails me sending both gauges up to APT for total rehab. If I do that, then I will be responsible for making sure this 65 speedometer is advertised and get a good home.
