Metal deck between front seats and lower compartments
Greetings, Does anyone have a good condition metal deck. It is the sheet metal plate between the front seats and the lower compartments. It is missing in the attached picture.
Ron has offered to fabricate one for me and normally that is my first choice but if anyone has a good one ready to ship it would better fit my schedule. Any price will certainly be considered.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Metal deck between front seats and lower compartments
I might have one. I can'r check for a couple of days though. They're a little bit different for later models, it changed in '66.
Beyond any hope for intervention

Here it is. It took 5 min to cut this and about 3hrs to hammer out the access lip. I made a jig so i could hammer the lip uniformly.

Hard to tell in David's pic, but doesn't it look like one of the dividers is missing? I see the one under the drivers seat, but i don't see the one under the passenger seat.

Ron, you're so awesome.
Right, I don't see the tray where the tool box should sit in.

I'm telling you...if anyone ever gets a picture of Ron I'm pretty sure he will be wearing a big red jumpsuit no matter the Az temperature, black boots and belt and have a flowing white beard. Just saying I've never seen both of the guys in the same picture.

Re: Metal deck between front seats and lower compartments
I'm jealous of your sheet metal skills. Were you a fabricator? I will have to do a bunch of body work and repairs on my 65 and am curious what Guage sheet you use in your repairs?
