Greetings,
After using the search function I can't seem to determine where to go for a new Thermal Sending Unit for the engine temperature. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure of a local replacement but I believe I have a spare one at home for you. I won't be back till the 12/10 though.

Thanks Justin, I appreciate your offer and I hope these things are easy to come by. If I can't find a quick source then I will re-contact you on this. If this is a part we have to order in from SA or Australia then I may ask you for yours, order several and then send you a replacement for your spare when they come in.
Soo, thank you and lets wait a day or two to see if they are readily available. I saw one for sale on the web but for the life of me I can't re-google that seller. But I'm trying.
Thanks,
David

sorry it took me so long to respond. i ordered the Tridon Thermal Sending units and they did not come close to fitting. They may have sent me the wrong ones. One of my mechanics found one that fit at Oriellys but it works in reverse. When cold it shows 212 degrees then works it way down to about 200. But it works for now.

Anyone know what the resistance is for the thermal sending unit when cold??? I put a datsun truck one in and the gauge goes in the red after 5 to 10 mins of idling. Touched the hoses to make sure they were not burning hot but they seemed normal.
Thanks
