Hello 60Patrol!
I've been following this site for a few years now and just amazed by the collective knowledge and community support for the 60 series Patrol. I just picked up my first Patrol (1966) and excited to start bringing her back to life. I wanted to briefly introduce myself and reach out to the 60Patrol community for help on parts, if anyone has these and willing to sell. Thanks in advance and I very much look forward to contributing to this forum!
66 Patrol Parts I'm looking for:
-Both rear door window frames
-Front windshield hinges
-Full exhaust system
-Anything else for a 66 Patrol that you have and are interested in selling =)
Cheers!
~Mike

Welcome to 60Patrol. Decent looking Patrol. Make yourself at home. And a nice list of Datsun/Nissans!

Re: New Owner of 66 Patrol - seeking help
Welcome to 60Patrol!
Congratulations on your new project!
That's a very tidy looking Patrol, a great start. We will be happy to help you breath life back in to it. Do you know any of it's history?
Very impressive list of Datsuns. I suppose you know Rob at Z Car Garage? He has a couple of Patrols also.
You'll probably need to have the exhaust system built by a shop. New exhaust parts have never been available, and used are typically trashed after 50 years.

Beyond any hope for intervention

Re: New Owner of 66 Patrol - seeking help
Thanks for the warm welcome, RiverPatrol =). I only know that the previous owner purchased it late last year from a gentleman who had 2 of them (he was apparently the 2nd owner), and this one was not modified so he decided to purchase it with intent to fully restore.
Yep I know Rob at Z Car and have actually purchased a few cars from him in the past. Great guy and great shop for Z-car enthusiasts in the Silicon Valley.
Thanks for the feedback on the exhaust. I knew someone a few years ago who was trying to give away a complete OEM stock system for the G60 Patrol model purchased from Australia, and I never thought I would regret not buying it at that time knowing that I would eventually own a Patrol in the future. =( Oh well, missed opportunities are what they are....missed opportunities. Sigh....
