Based on the cost to get a clunker to look like this one....this one is a steal.

If -
The body is solid under the new paint and the paint is real three part auto paint not spray can.
Wipers work
All electrical works
No fluid leaks
Clutch is not worn out
Motor is smooth with correct compression

Just needs the Rob Moore Petronix upgrade and it is ready to troll if it is as good as it looks.

The only items not readily mentioned are the complete axles and Birfield joints. Pictures should show their conditions and this seller looks to be the type to skip any big issues during the rebuild...but best be sure or about $1500 per axle for a rebuild.

I clearly don't know if a 65 door fits into a 67 tub (ok just learned they don't) but I do know what it costs to to pay mechanics to rebuild Patrols ...if you not skilled enough to do it yourself.....and that is easily a $15,000 + project for sale for $8700...providing it is as advertised.

It is a 3 part paint. Self etching catalized primer, base coat clear coat. Seemed like a low mileage vehicle. There are no play in the driveline you joints wheelbearings or pinion bearings. I don't think it's leaking any fluid if it is it's extremely minor and not dripping on the ground. All fluids were changed and the transmission seal was changed the clutch looked to be about 70%. The bearings in the engine seemed fine and there was no scoring in the cylinders the head was completely rebuilt so that we can run unleaded fuel in it. It has a new upholstery which cost $1700 and it has new painless wiring the blinkers work the turn signals work the headlights work the wire is ran to the windshield wipers but I have not hooked it up yet that goes for the heater as well. I do have the original hardtop and it's in pretty good shape other than one response on the roof where the sheet-metal would have to get cut out and something new welded in. This is not a show truck I have spent $13,500 on it and for months cleaning it up the only reason I'm selling it is because I hate it because I took time away from my family and wife to do this project and now she resent it and me greatly so the best choice for me is to get rid of it because I hate looking at it. It's not a perfect truck and need someone to complete the last 10% that's for sure but it runs and drives around pretty good and it stops great due to the four wheel disc conversion on it that's pretty much the only thing that is an original besides the wiring
