HAHAHA - That's a flip.

That Patrol belonged to Dorian Shoemake in Mississippi until about 2 weeks ago (Dorian owned it about 5 years, and did all the "clean and pretty" work on it. He literally just sold it on Ebay a couple weeks back).

I guess his buyer in South Carolina is looking for some fast cash- More power to him.

Definitely not an original 65 (it has 67-later side doors, and 68-later firewall), but it is a really nice rig, and from what Dorian told me, it runs and drives really solid.

You beat me to it, I was just going to say that is a '68. I didn't know about the prior sale though, I must have missed that eBay listing. Could you provide a link?

I was thinking that was a bit pricey!

I am not familiar with the 'Black Book' that he refers to to get his price. I am only familiar with the Kelley Blue Book. I know that price range is for completely restored Patrols.

If you cannot dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit!

It's a great looking rig, and very complete (toolbox, etc)... It's worth whatever a buyer is willing to pay. 8-)

The CPI black book is a subscription service that values classic vehicles based on their original sticker prices, adjusted forward for inflation, and then offers a valuation range based on vehicle condition, and originality. (very similar to Kelly Blue Book, but oriented toward classics and antiques)

This one is not original (not as original as the ad's suggest, anyway ;) ), but it is in superb condition, and it wears all Nissan Patrol replacement parts (even if they are not model-year correct ;) ).

JMHO, it should probably be priced right in the middle of the Black Book range (whatever number that is- I don't subscribe to the Black Book anymore :geek: )
