Camshaft Nut leftie?

Camshaft Nut leftie?

Trying to free up a rusted camshaft nut. have tried both directions with heat and impact. would like to know if nut is left handed and available some where if i choose to cut it off.

I 'll respond for myself in case somebody else needs the inf. The camshaft nut is right handed. :violin:

Sorry you didn't get a response on this. I didn't recall the camshaft nut to be left handed, but it's been a while since I worked with that. As I recall, the only left handed nut is on the rear axle on '67 and earlier models.
