Hello everyone
My name is Magdiel. People call me Mag for short.

I wanted to get an opinion from fellow Patrol heads. My friend/ business partner and I are thinking of importing Patrol parts from Colombia. What do you guys think?

Is there any list of most frequently used or most sought after parts that anyone could give me, so we have somewhere to start? This would be a great help.

My wife & I currently live in Charlotte, NC, and my friend Edgar lives in the coffee region of Colombia, close to the city of Armenia. Here is a picture of the 4 of us in Colombia recently. My wife and I are on the right.
If you have any ideas or looking for something specific let us know.

A Patrol parts source in NC would be great, for when I get started back on mine.

There is always a demand for:
Brake wheel cylinders
Brake master cylinder
Clutch master cylinder
Leaf springs

Cosmetic items:
Weatherstrip
Lens - front and rear light assemblies
Side and rear steps
Sunvisors

The Patrol community is always looking for parts!

Tail lights and badges are always popular as well.

There are a few vendors on eBay that have a variety of parts available, one is in Colombia. Wheel cylinders are readily available from Australia although the shipping costs are pretty high. You might consider the prices on those to see if it would be feasible.

Pretty much any parts that you can get will be appreciated.

I need push rods... but i think all parts would be wanted by somebody at sometime.

My buddy Edgar may be coming back to the USA for a visit in July so we'll try to get him to bring a bag of goodies.

I thought I had a bad head gasket for my G61 so I ordered a gasket set. Turns out it's not the head gasket so I have a full gasket set if anybody needs it.

Also I brought in 2 sets of valve stems for the G60 but it looks to me like one set is different from the other. I'm attaching a picture: I have a full set of the valve seal on the left and another full set of the valve seal on the right; can somebody please advise if one set is wrong or if they are both the same?

saw a gasket set on ebay the other day that is in concord NC, would that be you?

Any source of parts will be helpful.

I measured an old, used seal.
The valve stem hole ID is 8.5mm (11/32”)
The large ID is 14.8mm (37/64”)
That large ID is 11.12mm (7/16”) deep
The OD of the seal is 18.93mm (3/4”)
The height is 15.6mm (37/64”)
There is a square symbol with an ‘s’ through it, and
there is the number 116.
This style is made to fit snugly onto the guide area while the valve slides in its seal.
Another style (umbrella) fits snugly on the valve, but not onto guide. It moves with the valve.
