60Patrol

If anyone is interested I have picked up both axles from Plateaucal's donor 67 Patrol. I have them stored in CO but I could bring them back this summer to Texas whereby Rafael could rebuild them to "as new". He has rebuilt mine and the pictures are in my Green Machine Rebuild thread herein.

Rafael isn't cheap but if you want it done right and can't do it yourself then this is an option for you. I'd think they would be around $1500 each, rebuilt and ready to roll, if they are as good on the inside as they appear on the outside. Pick up location will be San Antonio, TX.

I was trying to find someone to rebuild a spare set of axles that I have. Since Rafael has done this before, I'm wondering if you would entertain doing these for me? I was trying to find someone locally, but i haven't been successful. I would have to ship them down from Connecticut and he would have to ship them back when complete.

You are on the right track. He would gladly do it. After doing my white Patrol he actually went to "study" mechanics in Australia for 5 months.

One thing, just be be sure, you will want to make sure your axles are similar to mine (60-65).....which means parts are available as needed from various sources and he knows where, or you can send the parts with the parts.
