Hi,
Just a quick note to say hi. I'm in Melbourne, Australia and have just purchased a 1976 G60. I picked this up on e-bay last week and only got it home a few days ago.
G60's were part of my childhood, with my Dad owning one from when I was about 8 to 13. I have many fond memories of 4WD'ing throughout various parts of Oz.
There's a few things to fix and rust in the usual places.
Anyway here's a couple of pics.

Welcome to 60Patrol!!
Congratulations on your G60. Looking forward to see more pictures and progress of your work.
I see a ginormous air filter there. Does it includes a dust separator inside?

Re: Hi from Melbourne, Australia
Thanks RiverPatrol and Esteban,
The air filter appears to have been fitted when one of the previous owners installed the LPG system.
The filter is huge and looks to have been of off something very 'industrial'. Here's a pic of the air filter cartridge. Seems to do the job, but I'm not sure if i'll be keeping it yet??
First priority will be to check out the chasiss etc. First inspections shows it be in very good condition with very little rust. I have to admit I was quite surprised by this. In terms of rust the worst areas appear to be the two front guard panels.
Brakes will definitely need re-doing so this'll also be on the list.
I won't be breaking any speed records with the resto, but I'll be sure to keep you all posted.

Re: Hi from Melbourne, Australia
That is quite a monstrous air filter, I'm sure it does the job very well.
