60Patrol

Hi All

Doing this on behalf of my grandfather.

I'm going to come out and be completely honest, I don't know the value of what I have on my hands and hope this forum help me understand. My grandparents are downsizing and my grandfather has a 60 series hardtop that has been used as a yard run around.

It has seen better days but it runs and has served my grandfather well but because they are downsizing there will be no need for it. Now I'm not a car savvy person so when I've tried to find more information about the car its become a bit of rabbit hole and I'm getting lost.

I'm looking to sell it on behalf of my grandfather and would like to know if this would be sold as a wreck or project to be?

It is located in Gympie, Queensland, Australia

Note: My grandfather does have the wooden side trays we just didn't get it out of the shed for the photo.

Welcome to 60Patrol! That is a fairly decent looking ute, someone can probably get some use out of it as a farm truck. The going rate on utes seems to be about $1500 AUD. You got some rare bits on it that some folks may try and buy from you separately. Some may try and get the ute from you for much less. Good luck with the sale!

RiverPatrol nailed the price range, the bits an enthusiast will be interested in are the chassis, the cab section ( from the firewall back to the cab rear window ), the floorpan and the windshield frame which are hard to find without structural rust - surface rust isn't a big deal though. The bumper looks straight which is nice, and if you happen to have the original jack, crank handle and toolkit they can be worth a bit too to the right buyer.

Where are the wipers

Thank you all for the responses and the warm welcome, such a great community! Apologies for the delayed response, helping with the move is quite a busy and distracting time.

I would imagine getting requests for its parts would be a common thing but selling it whole would be best for my grandfathers situation, so might try for that. Thank you once again RiverPatrol.

Thanks for the information Johnny, very invaluable. As mentioned to RiverPatrol above I will try sell it all together, selling parts might not work with my grandparents time frames for moving. Cheers!
