1969 L60 in USA

Recently tracked down and purchased a '69 L60 here in the United States and am working on prepping it for the humid Florida climate. From what I can tell it has spent the majority of its life in Northern California, New Mexico, and Texas so rust is minimal and all surface. Prepping it to be a weekend warrior/project vehicle.
Have been perusing this site for information and figured I needed to join and say hello. Fuel pump started leaking the other day and thanks to you guys, have a replacement in the mail now!
Attaching a few photos, don't have many at the moment, but can always get more. May notice that the heater core has been bypassed, started leaking almost immediately upon arrival. Figured this would be a quick/easy/dirty way to stop the leaking of coolant on the passenger side. Definitely open to any repair/replacement suggestions. From what limited info I can find, seems like the dash may need to come out and is a bit of a pain to do. We have a short, mild winter here so its not a priority.
There are a lot of things I don't claim to be and a competent mechanic is one of them! Super excited to find a community that is so supportive about these awesome vehicles. Patrols are a rarity in the States and there is not a lot of information readily available!
Cheers,
Preben
