Missing part on dashboard

I noticed I have this empty hole on my dash. I know the older models have their ignition located here. There was a metal rod/washer with a busted metal rope dangling when I received it.
The other hole located on the top came empty. I later found a green dash light under my seat that fit that specific area which attached to the light located below the photo. I believe it could be a light that indicates when the 4x4 is activated, I could be wrong.
I haven't been able to get it working. Any info would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

By the shape of the hole, it could have been for the "manual throttle control knob". I'm sure that model of Patrol has that.
Older models have it under the dash.

Here's a brochure for the model:

I spent more time searching pics. Our Colombian members are more familiar with the G61s. Member rrodriguezsal has done an amazing restoration on his, well worth searching his posts for many drool worthy pictures. I was looking through his Gallery albums and found the answer; the hole is for the hazard light switch.

You're a TON of help! I can't thank you enough. I've searched and searched with little results, amazing.
I believe the LG might have the hazards in that specific area, I could be wrong. My hazards are right above my steering wheel. Unfortunately, it came broken and missing knob, just a thin metal rod. Works when I click the hazard switch and click my blinker.
