Engine Rebuild

Post by Redpatrol7760 »

I’ve seen enough guys say the rebuild of the P engine is a good place to learn, so where we are. I’ve taken off rocker shaft assembly and push rods. And had taken out cylinder head bold when girls woke up from there nap and had to go back to parenting. Anyone have tips or things to watch out for with first timer? Also, what can I use to wash engine parts before I put it back together?

get a big table and lay everything out exactly how it was removed from the engine (position-wise). I know with the main caps, they are usually specific to their location on the engine block.

also, I see you aren't too far from me!
