Re: 60 G60 LG60 Clarification
There are many many different model designations, both for left hand drive and right hand drive. The model sold in the US and North America was the L60, for left hand drive. It was also referred to as KL60 sometimes, which designated it as a hard top model. The G60s were the Australian and right hand drive models, a heavier duty version and longer wheel base. LG60 were found in South America, Colombia especially, the 'L' designating LHD. I'm sure Esteban can correct and expand on this.
Here are pages from an LHD and a RHD parts book to show some of the model designations. This isn't even all of them though.

Re: 60 G60 LG60 Clarification
It does in a sense. The 60 series Patrol which we know and love was the base model designation from 1961 to 1979. In 1980 there was a soft top model that retained the same body style but had a new power train, that model was the L/G61 and was made for 2 years. That same year the hard top model was an entirely new design and was the MK/MQ model. But any of the 60 series were the type of Patrol referred to here.

Re: 60 G60 LG60 Clarification
Why do some Patrols have a turn signal unit that clamp around the column an the body sticks out and why do some have a body like the one I have, that clamps around the column and looks integral to the column? What 60Patrol is this for?

Various cosmetic changes over the years. In '69 the turn signal assembly changed, earlier years had the one that clamped on the steering column.
