Will it work??????

I have a 69 Patrol that needs a new spingle in the front left axle. Could I use one from a FJ40? Will it work? and what year does it need to be? If that wouln't work could I replace the whole axle for a FJ40 axle? Hope someone knows for sure. Tom MT

A bent spindle is not uncommon on a Patrol. I do not think one from a FJ40 will work, these are completely diffrent trucks made by differnet companies. Why would you want to anyways?? I can see swapping in a FJ diff if you are missing yours or even to mod the truck but otherwise I do not get it. A used one is available, I have a few and so does a member of this site Jeepy in Denver. I got one from a junkyard in Oregon long ago and it ran me $60.
