It will be closest to earth onthe 23rd. Look for it below the big dipper, about half way towards the horizon.

We are currently camping in the mountains of Idaho and the comet is very visible!

Awesome! Where about?

I think we are heading for the edge of the wilderness this weekend, about 10000 feet. Should be good viewing.

My wife has a late model I-phone she used with 10 second exposure or so to get that photo.

We were near Lake Cleveland in the Sawtooth National Forest. Beautiful area! The comet was very visible!
