Bottle Jack

Post by zed »

Thru the kindness of a known Patroller in the Great State of CA, I acquired this Sears bottle jack several years ago. Since I recently came into the custody of the correct Tabako bottle jack, I have determined that the Sears jack needs to move on to another owner.

The Sears jack has a larger diameter than the Tabako, so the original jack mount will not accommodate the jack without modification.

If you are interested in the Sears jack, all I ask is you pay for shipping from Zip Code 75075. If no one is interested in seven (7) days I will offer it elsewhere.

Out of curiosity, where is the original location for the bottle jack? I'm guessing under the passenger seat but I have no idea.

Actually you're close. It's behind the passenger seat. There is a bracket clamp mounted to the tub that it sits in.

God that is a pretty picture. I happen to have a bottle jack mount laying in my scrap metal pile. Maybe I should save it?

Thank you, that explains two more holes I have.
