Dave's Patrol

Hi everyone. I'm Dave. My Patrol and I are in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Thanks for accepting me into the forum. Special thanks to RiverPatrol for keeping this forum going as all us new Patrol people would be lost without it and I'm afraid there'd be plenty of Patrols that could be put back on the road headed for the scrap yard.

This is my new to me 1967 Patrol. I purchased it from a friend, Merlin (who has 4W60!!!!!) as well as another L60. My Patrol came out of the Kamloops area which is semi-desert and that means dry and little rust. Mine only has the usual rust on the lower bit of the back panels beside the door but that is it, other than a little surface rust bits here and there.

I've been spending a lot of time searching - may have the engine rebuilt bits figured out. Maybe.

Relax, those hub caps are from a Mercury pick-up.
Here are some images (guess which one has been loved by iPhone filters?)

Good for you! You found one that looks to have solid sheet metal. Most everything else can be replaced, if and when needed from the vast knowledge and resources within this vault of experience.
