60Patrol

Greetings from Columbia! (The one in South Carolina, without the Patrol riches of the similarly named country in South America)
I don't own a Patrol (yet) but am quickly becoming more obsessed with that idea and am saving up for it. I first came across the incredible machine online a few months ago, but haven't yet been able to see one in person - despite my best efforts. (I know this is very embarrassing for me as well). I was a day late to a nice looking KG60 in NC but fate was not on my side...
My ladder framed pipe dream would be to own a long body/LWB. My wife is aware of this and is very understanding and my kids think the idea of the troop style seating is "AWESOME!!!!!!" (And obviously I agree).
Thanks for allowing me in the forum and I look forward to one day becoming a fully-blooded patrol owner!

Welcome to 60Patrol! You'll find the right Patrol, it just takes patience. Any LWB you're likely to find will probably be quite costly because that body style never came to the US, so anything you find has been imported recently. Just keep saving your pennies, the right one will show up eventually. In the mean time help yourself to everything the forum has to offer that will whet your appetite to be a bonafide Patrol owner!

My ignorance is already showing itself. I had thought that the LG60 was the LWB at 98+ inches, but then I saw RiverPatrols very long bodied Patrol. So I guess I've told a booger tale as my ideal adventure apparatus is actually the MWB, as the true LWB (not sure what the model designation would be - XLG60 or VeryLG60?) appears to be too much machine for this fella. Generally the L60 - which is what we got here in the US - is the short wheel base and left hand drive. The G60 is the mid wheel base and right hand drive, that's what Australia has. Then the LG60 is mid wheel base and left hand drive, that's what our Colombian friends have.
