Just entered the patrol world!

Hey everyone, I'm new to the patrol game, but found out about these trucks a few months ago and happened to come across a 67 that caught my eye. It needs some work but has some interesting custom mods (and FJ wheels from what I can tell!).
Came with a hardtop that needs a good deal of work (also needs upper rear doors), and I am in debate as to whether an original style canvas may be better:
Interior is in good shape and the previous owner had refinished the seats but never put them in. I just got those fitted this weekend along with new seatbelts, and working on LED light conversion (although having some trouble finding the right flasher unit for the LEDs). The brakes work great but corners/rears flash weakly and slow when signals are activated:
Thus far I have new monroe shocks and steering damper in (springs are a bit saggy). Shoes are good, wheel cylinders all around on the way. Its a bit hard to start and bogs down a bit with initial accelerator application, but I have a carb rebuild kit on the way, pertronix coil and electronic conversion kit on the way as well. All the extra wiring and lights have been ripped out:
Future work will be the top (hardtop vs canvas), paint, bench seats, etc.
Thank you all for the wealth of knowledge on this site. Any patrol insider refurbish tips are greatly appreciated (as are a good parts source!). I'll try to post more as the project comes along.
