I like the pieces of metal someone bent up and installed on the tops of the doors. Been thinking of doing the same thing for mine (but not that tread/diamond plate material).

Is the “map tray” under the dash a common OEM item I’ve never noticed before?

I've never seen it either... but I really like it! I'm seeing something similar in my Patrol (when I get her back on the road)-- perhaps a phone slot?
