I had this Patrol at my business for a couple days and I was approached by a guy that said he had three of them in his yard. I went over and we made a deal and now I have four Nissan patrols LOL. He had used the three he had for a restoration he did about 15 years ago but one of them is almost totally complete and I think I could make another complete one out of the other two. For the first one I bought a month ago I expected this vehicle to be more of a project but within 2 days we got every bulb working, the brakes bled and working good, fuel flowing from the tank good, and driving down the road at 55 miles an hour. I'm truly astounded that everything on this thing seems to work and it drives great and the motor just purrs quietly. After sitting for 25 years it took less than 24 hours to get everything up and running. The only Bowl I can't seem to get to work is the bulb next to the turn signal indicator in the dash. There is an Amber bulb on the left that is the turn signal indicator and what looks like a blue bulb on the right and I'm not sure what that one is for possibly High beams? I'm also looking for the Nissan Patrol emblems that go on the outside of the front fenders. Does anyone have any they would be willing to sell? I'm really excited about this truck. As soon as my new tires arrive I'm going to put them on a set of the original steel wheels that are on the parts patrols that I got and it should be a really good look. Is anyone else running 235 85 16s? Should I expect some rubbing or will they fit okay?8814881388068805

Blue light on the dash is for high beams. I'm assuming you checked the buld, if so then it could be the high beam switch on the floor or the wiring associated with it.

Glad you are rescuing these Patrols!!

Yep, that's how it happens. Patrol fever means you can't have just one. :D Very cool that your first endeavor is already a driver for you!

I’m running 235/75R15 on whiite enameled steel rims :

https://www.jegs.com/i/Cragar/260/3105760P/10002/-1
Part Number : 260-3105760P

Nomad I Wheel
Size: 15'' x 7''
Bolt Pattern: 6 x 5-1/2''
Rear Spacing: 4-1/2''
Offset: +13mm

I think that you will be fine. Check the measurements of your rims and compare with these.

Good stuff mate,
I swear these things breed or something cos I started with two and it doubled unexpectedly a couple months later.
I'm now fighting the urge to purchase one in NSW that has a 3-53 Detroit diesel in it.
