60Patrol

It's been a long time coming, but I finally have my Patrol done (is it ever "done"?) and wanted to share some photos.

To say it's heavily modified is an understatement. Mine did not have the original engine, transmission, or seats when I got it, so apologies to the purists. Here are a few of the mod highlights. Some are obvious, others not so much.

Chevy LS-1 V8 Swap mated to a 700R4 transmission and NP241 transfer case.
Custom 3-link front suspension with King reservoir coilover shocks in the front and King shocks and leaf springs in the rear.
Dana 30 in the front w/chromoly shafts and an Eaton E-locker, Ford 8.8 in the rear w/ DTT limited slip, disc brakes all around.
33" tires on BlackRock wheels.
Aftermarket heater (no A/C), Aftermarket gauges.
New Paint (not a stock color) and matte black trim.

Thanks to 60Patrol members Keith for the seats, Ron for the rear step fab, and Leslie for the spare tire carrier lever. It's probably been so long, you all forgot, ha!

Only about 300 miles on it since completion in January. Having a lot of fun so far. Can't bring myself to take it offroad yet, as it looks almost too pristine.

Nicely done! The engine et al looks very tidy under the hood, a good fit. The stock seats look nice tucked in with all of the modern equipment, too. Great that you can get it out and enjoy it finally. Congratulations!

That's clean. What wheel specs did you use?

The wheels are 15" Black Rock 909B Type D's (without the center caps mounted) and Mickey Thompson 33" tires.
