Greetings Patrolles Worldwide,
I have an OEM Bakelite heater knob frozen to the steel rod. I've tried to let soaking oil run down the shaft into the interface with no luck. I don't know alot about Bakelite.
I don't want to damage the knob.
Please consider my two questions.
A). Can I submerge the knob in oil without damaging the knob?
B). Maybe I leave the rod connected to the knob. Can I disconnect the rod from the switch assembly and insert the rod and knob into a new switch assembly?
