Speedometer Gear Set from Tranny/Transfer Case
Something is wrong with the speedo gear set on my Patrol such that we can't get the speedo cable to spin from the tranny/transfer case so something must be wrong with that gear set. We haven't pulled it apart yet but thought I would inquire to see if anyone has an open case that has been robbed of other parts and would be willing to let go the speedometer gear set. Please let me know if so. I did find a complete transmission/transfer case unit but really don't need the whole thing as mine was just rebuilt and working great otherwise. All that's left on my project is this, door lock assembly (which I found but not yet installed) and the upholstery work. Here's a pic from last week. Thanks all!

Re: Speedometer Gear Set from Tranny/Transfer Case
We were able to fix the exiting gears. The issue was resolved by pushing the cable in a bit further and tightening the assembly to hold in place.
