Im a fairly new patrol owner.  Was a heater an option in 63? Also in search of good replacement wiper motor.  Any ideas?

; I'm guessing someone took it out, you should look at the passenger floor boards and see if there are two hose lines, or holes for hoses on the right floor board under the dash leading to the engine.; They did fail often, and only had a squire fan with switch to run the fan, on all models, same as the defrost fan. To turn your heat on or off was a matter of summer, or winter. In the winter you open the hood, and turn the valve on at the engine block. During the summer, you turn it off again. It was a pretty basic heater and one you could find off an old Land Cruiser to make one fit in your Patrol.; I had an extra heater that I took out of the back of a Cruiser, the Aux. heater mounted under the back seat of some 4 door LC's, and or sitting in the back of some 78's - 84 LC'ers. You could install one of those in the back compartment like I did, keeps it pretty toasty in sub-arctic conditions.; I also had to take a core heater rad out of some old buick or something once to replace my leaky heater core in my Patrol. I had to cut the box out a little different due to the hoses, but it still fit in the stock heater core box. It would be easy to fabricate the box if you don't have that and put any size heater core in that you want, and hang it from under the dash and plumb to the defrost vents.; What fan operates the defrost plowers? Don't you have dust pan looking things on the dash pointing at the windshield?
