Anyone have Oil Filter Parts??

say does anyone have the innards for the filter assembly???? mine dont have anything in it besides the filter unit..........? seems there should be something inside it besides that??!! HELP

Hey Alaska! I have a cut away pic in my NISSAN P engine service manual. But, I have a better cut away of it in my parts manual, only thing is I have not scaned it in yet. Ill try to upload a pic of it from my P service manual. Grant

Hey Grant!!! cool that would be good,, I was looking around found my manual... looked through it found out whats missing.. NOW... hehe. trouble is WHERE do I get them?????????? can Anyone help????????? seems to me I need the spring the disk that separates between the Bolt and the top of the Oil filter itself.. I think thats all. like i mentioned before there isnt anything inside except the filter..(lotta good that does).lol thanx for the response Grant...happy trails. As for me...Im looking into a 200+ hp P40 engine..yes thats right 200+ depending on the header and intake and carb setup I go ahead and make along with my secret weapon... this engine is damn near bullet proof,,,,, so what the heck Im giving her some real HP..more on how it comes along as it comes. Ps.. already had it running man talk about responsive... but am in middle of changing a few things. to make it better. and look better.More later. Pp.ss.. these long winter nights... gotta have something to do...lol

If not, post a message "PARTS NEEDED" Im sure someone here can fix you up? As for the 200hp... wow, keep us posted! Take some pics and document the procedure and parts! Im working on a before and after picture list, parts list, labor list of my project (is PATROL latin for PROJECT? ). Im up to about 6000.00 so far. But this thing is going to be like new. About the only thing left to do is rebuild the tranny and transfer... well the front and rear end too, some day. Grant

You might find a spring that will work at a hardware store, if you can't find a the speacial washer I can make one at work for you. Willie

hey guys.. well I had to put that project on the back burner for awhile. but its summer time now so I should be getting at it again soon.. ON WITH THE HP!!! hehe.. ever know of anyone with a 4 barrel carb on a patrol.?????? well am gathering the parts for my new intake manifold. so Ill keep ya posted.. later guys.~! Chaz
