btw, i will not be guilty of taking my current Patrol apart and mixing engines or whatever with it. getting the original window sticker with mine, i feel obligated to keep it original and slowly bringing it back as i can afford it. with two other vehicles ahead of it, i am afraid it will be quite a while before this one sees paint. i might decide to sell off something and devote all my money and time to just one vehicle and have it really nice. that is the problem with owning more than one. just keeping tires on all my vehicles is about to break me. and i have a 15 year old boy going on insurance soon. I offered a good friend of mine the 74 260Z in trade for taking the Patrol and painting it. which i thought was way over the top in his favor, as i have close to $8 in it and he turned me down. that would have gotten me out of hot water with the wife. she is tired of paying insurance on all this junk(her words not mine), and seeing it just sit. ok i am done with the whining, sorry all
And that premium is coming due soon *shudder*. I have all of my Patrols insured through Hagerty, classic car insurance. The rates are less expensive than conventional coverage. Keep the wife happy though. Remind her that the Patrol is a father - son project?
