And Leano makes number 6.......

Post by 50car »

Added another parts vehicle to the stables this last weekend. Found it down by Portland Oregon. The guy also has a 63 soft top for sale on craigslist. Leano as I have called this new vehicle is a 1966 motorless, broken rear leaf spring, missing front leaf spring, setting on a rear diff from who knows what.. but the body has several usable pieces that I will utilize in the restoration of others that I have....

Very cool.
Do I spy a 16" steel wheel? If so, please keep me in mind if you don't plan to use it on your project.

Actually you are looking at a complete set of 4 16 inch rims... I had to pull them off my softy patrol in the shop so I could roll it up onto the trailer. Nope, they are not for sale... The 4 flat tires that were on this rig when I picked it up includes 2 split rim 15 inchers....
sorry. :)

No, Michael, you are very correct... what ever rear end they have shoved under the rear end is so narrow that the stock rims would not clear the frame rail when we tried to bolt them on correctly.. so since it was just a means to get it home, the bassakwards fitting came about... Yep it looks bad.. oh well, we got it onto the trailer..
