Stromberg carbys

Won't run? Engine, cooling system, fuel pump, carb, clutch, tranny, brakes, etc. The old messages from the NPCA 'Engine & Mechanical' category are here.

Stromberg carbys

Post by G60michael »

hi all, having issues with the holley and hitatch on the blue 78, and thinking fitting some Stromberg's, which not only provides smooter operation but for more access to parts. Who's got a Stromberg single barrel fitted to there patrol, and was wondering what model Stromberg you run.

On the inlet side of the fuel bowl tthere is some numbers that identify the model of carby for example 1 3/32

If you could let me know whats on yours and how does it function would be wonderful, cheers mike

There are a few different threads that discuss the Stromberg carby. Here is one: http://www.60patrol.com/forum/viewtopic ... erg#p18266 . The Stromberg on my ute was recently rebuilt, and it is the best running Patrol I have ever driven now.
Beyond any hope for intervention
