In need of a hood latch

Hi, one of my hood latches has no more spring to it. let me know if someone has one to sell. thanks.

Hi Gary, sometimes those get full of rust and just need to be soaked in penetrating oil and persuaded a bit.

I tried lubricating the bad latch but it didn't help. I am still in need of a hood latch if someone has one or a set.

thanks for trying to help out - but I guess what I need is called a windshield latch? there are two of them, and they lay on the hood. So, when the windshield is lowered onto the hood it can be locked down so it doesn't rattle.
