Fresh air hose and Defroster air hoses

Has anyone identified a compatible fabric or cloth cover for the coil wires used for the fresh air hose and defroster air hoses?

Levis denim jean pant leg, size 34R x29 is a perfect size for the fresh air vent:

Has anyone found an aftermarket option for the heater air hose reducer / coupler ?

From my research, the Datsun 311 roadster, 520 and 521 use the same diameter vent hose as the Patrol. The USDM Patrol uses a fabric wrapped wire coil, whereas the other vehicles use either a paper or plastic vent hose. All are 1.5" od0
I purchased a reproduction defroster hose reducer (right side of image) from
https://zcardepot.com/products/defrost- ... 9565852785:
As you can see, the original part (left side of image) is a bit smaller and fits both defroster hose, heater box, and vent nozzle perfectly.
Since Zcardepot does not appear to have a depth of knowledge of roadster parts, I will not be addressing this issue with them.
