60Patrol

Still working on the radiator flush. The heater core is "unfix-able" according to the radiator shop and I haven't found a replacement. I don't think this is a standard patrol set up.

Hi Andrew, i cant see what is cracked, but if you need any parts i have several. Im thinking your pic is of the t-stat housing? I have a few of them. Let me know. CHEAP ALMOST FREE. HE HE

Seriously if you need a new housing i will send you one, just pay the shipping.

Your heater core is definitely not original. I don't know what that is under the passenger side dash but you better call MIB.

Way to go Davey. That pretty much summed up a Patrol heater,

It is on its way, i sent the one with studs. Should be Andrew proof. He He. Be careful when you tighten it to the cyl head. Just snug is all you need.

Hey Andrew, did you get your part yet?

Not yet. If your part and the heater core I ordered comes tomorrow I will do a flush and add the coolant. I'll let you know when it comes.

I'm still having issues with the brakes. I could not remove the bleeder screw and i'm considering using freeze off. I could not get the drum off either. I gave up and worked on body work.

I will be making a new headliner using the old one as a template. If anyone else needs a headliner and wants to use it as a template let me know and I will send it to you when I'm done. I also have the mat that covers the transmission cover and a passenger side floor mat that snaps into the bolts. Neither are perfect but I'm sure someone can use them.
