Ha-ha I love this old truck, its also been getting out in the neighbour hood, helping out pulling out residents stumps, hauling timber ect. The alternator died in it, so I pinched the one from he brown 72 as its fuel pump has packed it in. Interesting - in Tassie the Rural Fire service uses mostly white trucks. Fireman Sandy http://www.60patrol.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=4212 is a G60 that was used in the TFS. Around here the colour of most fire trucks prior to orange becoming the standard colour was a darkish green, and most fire trucks had a sticker of the crown or england with flames under it I think......
