Well, that's not the one I was thinking of. That is actually the access for your slave cylinder. I guess it could work, as long as the lever can move freely. And then your shifter is going to be pretty tall. You have to be very careful not to accidentally knock the PTO into gear while you are driving, you will destroy the PTO gears that way.

interesting. okay and you probably know me all too well. very clumbsy. I do like the one that has a pin that locks it in place until you need it, that's an excellent design.

I believe this is the pre-cut hole you are remembering. I think this is a 67' mission cover. Consequently, this cover does not have the access hole for the clutch slave cylinder since it had mechanical linkage.

Yep, that's the one. Maybe you could use that as a template. I'm sure someone could come up with the rubber piece that fits in there. You could use that for the boot.

Finally got to finish the back of the driver's seat. Here are the steps in order of applying the layers of burlap, synthetic hog's hair, 1/2 inch foam, cotton batting, and finally cotton muslin fabric.

Well I finally got the upholstery finished on the front seats. It only took about 10 months from start to finish. A turtle's pace, but not bad with the normal work and life interruptions though. So here's a shot of the the driver's seat before: The bucket seats I had been using: The aluminum diamond plate panel I had before Jeff in CO. Sold me a nice used panel. The original replacement panel: Finally, the like new seats: Time to work on something else!
