By the chassis number and the engine, it looks like it is a 67, by looking at the Registry.

Nice score on the parts rig. Esteban is probably correct on the year; it also has the early style rear jump seats.

I assumed so, based on the sequence of numbers. This is definitely a hodge podge of parts from potentially three different rigs. I have three different steering wheels, one 69 and two pre 69. The clutch in Deuce is mechanical linkage, no hydraulics. My first two Patrols were 69's, so all these differences are like new discoveries for me.

One big roadblock to a test drive is a couple of missing pieces on the drag link. The drag link was tied to the pitman arm with a piece of nylon rope. Just strong enough to load and unload it from the trailer Saturday.

If anyone has spares of these that they are willing to part with, let me know. I have some pieces to barter with now, or perhaps some fabricated bumperettes, or good old fashioned cash.

I think I have all the draglink pieces you circled... might be missing the spring...

Here are some pictures of your bumperettes: Your old bumber is made of some heavier stock than the (4) that I have. Mine were made of 1/8"material and yours is 5/16" thick. It came out pretty good. Let me know what you think of the new ones, I used the 1/8" stock. That little 1/2" cutout on the bottom of those is a detail that was present on the (4) that I have, but not on your original. I just need to do a little cleanup with the grinder and drill holes in the last new one, then they are in the mail to you.

Ron, Thanks again for the kind words, coming from the master caster of aluminum emblems, I really appreciate it. They are really easy to make,the bottle jack does all the work.

The long weekend was good to me, as I was able to spend three days in the shop, working on Ducky again. I had already stripped most of the components off of the engine to prep those and the engine for paint. I came up with an idea to make some gaskets of a rubber material and some blanking plates of plywood, so I could close up the engine to allow me to pressure wash it. I made these for the manifolds, fuel pump, distributor, oil filter housing, water outlet and water pump openings then installed them: Rolled it outside the shop, and hit it with the pressure washer. Let it dry a bit and pushed it back in. Just a little more work with the wire wheel and I should be painting, should be fun.
