Texas 1969 KL60

Finally got all the stuff needed to rebuild my PTO and got it reinstalled on the transmission.

To rebuild it requires one each of the seals and two each of the bearings. There are two caged needle bearings inside there but mine were fine so I didn't research replacements for them. I was able to source all the stuff I needed from Purvis Bearings / Industries.

I need to find a source for the Timken Seal. Anyone have any ideas? I've got the minion missile running, but she's leaking oil from the PTO - baby needs a new seal.

This is what I came up with on a quick google search. I think I got mine from Purvis Industries but I can not remember. It's been too long and I didn't keep any note about it!

Sadly no. My wife was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago and I have had to put the Patrol on hold. She is doing well now with no recurrence as of yet. I have a lot of things to catch up on and then I will get back to the Patrol. Hopefully in the next month or so. Hope I can figure out what is what because when I stopped working on it I was in the middle of rewiring the thing.

That's tough news and makes the Patrol status more than understandable. You most certainly have your priorities straight. Glad to hear that you're on the right side of the diagnosis.

The previous 5 years have had similar levels of health and wellness related "uncertainty" in the Moore household, as well...

Life (like time) moves through seasons, and we need the falls and the winters in order to better appreciate the springs and summers, methinks...

I am more glad to hear that your wife's treatment is going well, than I am to hear ANYTHING about some crusty old truck...
