I believe that is why you see only a dribble of trucks coming out of this country. Also the costs are much higher for the paperwork and transport which most people do not realize. You can not compare to Australia or Europe. This is why I am doing higher end trucks to justify those higher costs. Most of the Patrols were beaten on worse than the Toyotas as they were used more for commercial use than the Toyotas. Thus hard to find. Having said that I just found the most original truck of all my 10 trucks so far including Toyotas.

I just bought a 1977 Patrol LG-60 in red. One owner 68,000 miles. All original tools, interior, owner's manual on and on. mostly original paint.

It is sold to a collector already.

This is good information to know. I've often wondered why we didn't have more resources for parts in Colombia, but this explains part of the problem.

I am anxious to picture of this red one when it is complete.

I am hoping to get completed soft top pics next week. Truck really needs bigger tires like 7.0 or 7.50 x 16 but it has new michellin 6.50s I think on it and the client is fine with that.

In terms of parts I may do Toyota new body panels and once I do that I could offer new Patrol panels too. Doing individual parts etc just not set up for it. Hard enough just to get a complete truck out of there. Thanks much
