Have you done anything to it?? Do you have any part numbers, not the ones out of the parts book because those lead no where, to any of the bearings or the oil and dust seal??
Wow Sorry Justin - I totally missed this inquiry...
But, no, I have not done anything to my PTO, and my attempts to find any relevant technical information about it have also turned up fruitless...
No worries. I pulled it all apart and got all the bearings for it. I just have to drill out and tap the drain plug hole in the bottom and then put it all back together, if I can remember how seeing as its been awhile since I got it all apart.

Its been a while so I thought I'd give a quick update on my project. Over the last couple months I have rebuilt the transmission and transfer case, installed the bell housing, flywheel and clutch assy, painted the frame, reconditioned the starter and got my new header from the land down under. I am waiting to pick up the frame from the paint shop then I will get to putting a rolling chassis together. I will add some photos in the next few days. I do have a question. Is there a replacement Clutch Slave Cylinder out there in the US?? I found on in AUS but it cost as much to ship it as the thing costs. My slave is pretty badly pitted so I would rather replace it than have it repaired. Also the service manual talks about a Warning Switch located on the Transfer case, does anyone have a part number or know where to get one?

I have a new, still in the box Protex clutch slave cylinder (part # JB4048) that Miller sent me along with my 5 speed, but both of my Patrols are manual clutch linkage, so I have no use for it.
PM me best price you can find for it online(minus shipping) and I'll get the USPS flat rate shipping cost from Az to Tx.

According to the Parts Manual, the Warning Switch is 32005-H5000 I think that around 1975 they started coming with the warning lamp in the dash.
Doing a search, that part has been updated to 32005-K121A at
http://www.everythingnissan.com/Nissan- ... h5000-.htm
Disclaimer: I have never used this place. And some others that claim to have the parts, when it comes to the Patrol, after a couple of days they send an email saying that they're sorry but the parts are no longer available.
I found this interesting information regarding that switch:

Also used in early 4TH-gear switch (USA B110)
