Surely someone has had to replace a water pump. I have a '66 Patrol and the water pump is on its last leg. My Patrol is the only way I have to get to work (only about 5 miles) so I need to fix it quick before it dies. Any suggestions on part # matches or something would be helpful. Thanks.

The Nissan part number for the pump is; 21010-58050. a good NAPA or other parts house should have a cross reference to a replacement pump. My parts book show that the pump is rebuildable. The bearings are available but you will have to remove them to get a part number or to measure them for replacement. Good Luck

I forgot to add that I got mine from a Nissan dealer. (the older the dealer the better) or check with Nissan autoparts.com

i was able to rebuild my fuel pump- i wanted to at least try before forking over $191 to the local nissan/mafia. the bearings in mine were Federal 1302-f. i assume the pump had been rebuilt before as these are made in U.S.A. the ones i replaced them were SKF6302 2rsjem. i opted for the sealed bearings, but non sealed are available also, must be a common size as the industrial suppley house had them in stock, $20. rebuilding the pump is not terribly easy, the main shaft is brass, DO NOT BEAT ON IT! it will not want to come out easy either-but i didnt want to fork out almost $200. as a note, i tried going through nissan industrial forklift warehouses, but after much research, the prices were consistantly higher than nissan-good luck!
