Welcome to 60Patrol! :text-welcomeconfetti:

Wow! That is an amazing looking Patrol! Congratulations! You've done some outstanding work to it. The power steering system fits in there nicely. What vehicle is the 5 speed from? Thanks for sharing! :D
Beyond any hope for intervention

WOW! That is beautiful.
The odometer reads 3394.3. Kilometers I assume? Or Miles?
Surely that is after the 1st time around?

Hi, Kilometers, I turn down to "0" when i made new the engine. Currently has 8163 kms since the engine fixed in 2009.

Thanks for the welcome! Sure the power steering system fits great. Both the PSS and the gear box (FS5W81A) are from a Patrol 160.

Thanks, that's good information to have. How difficult was it to adapt the 5 speed to the P engine? Now, if only we had 160s in the states...

Well, my Patrol is powered with a P40, so i didn't have any problem to fit the 160 5 gear box on the engine as The main housing and transfer are the same on the 4 and 5 speed gearboxes; But you do have to:

1. To get lengthenThe front drive-shaft and to short the rear.
2. To put on The transfer mounts further towards the rear of the chassis

To fit on a 5 gearbox 160 on a P engine you need an adapter plate, and you have to do points 1 and 2, besides, to change clutch disc and cover for the 61 or 160 series....
